Sussita Kumi – Rescue of Swider (10 y.)

For years, private animal welfare workers had been watching a dog living homeless on the streets of Swidwin, but all attempts to catch him failed. Then one day this pathetic dog fell victim to a traffic accident and the animal welfare workers managed to rescue him at the last second, save his life and take him to a vet. Afterwards Swider was taken to a shelter where he was not well, he could hardly stand up, let alone walk, and adequate care was impossible. The courageous animal friends begged us to take Swider in. Swider is very sweet to humans – but a little difficult with other dogs, he has already been through all the dog groups and now lives in our Doris-Zinn hostel with two old dog ladies. He is a pain patient.
