Lars was rescued from the street as a small puppy together with his mum and brother. In the hostile dog environment, his chances of survival would have been zero. The little dog family was taken in by a foster home in Moscow. We were asked to take in the young male dog.
Finja was rescued from the state killing centre in Yakutsk, Siberia. She had been bitten and badly injured by other dogs there. Animal welfare volunteers rescued her and had her treated by a vet. She was then placed in a foster home in Moscow.
