We took Karina (11 years) and Perszing (3 years) from the animal shelter in Kolberg. Karina is an extremely gentle and loving dog, who is, however, in a physically very fragile and needy condition. We hope that the old lady will be able to live out her days with us for a good while to come. We took Perszing in because he was completely frightened and had withdrawn into a run in the shelter. When we started to care for him a little, he never left our side and looked at us with expectant eyes. He is still a bit sceptical towards strangers, but his cheeky intelligence surely lets him overcome the past, a charming guy.
The 6-year-old very strong Labrador Retriever Vader was abandoned and simply tied to the gate outside of Fallada. Hopefully, we will find a nice private home for him, too.
