After Alma Mater was taken in, we couldn’t stop searching for the whereabouts of her unknown calf. In fact, we were finally able to find out that the little one, together with another calf, had ended up in a fattening farm in Poland on a diversion from Germany. It was the explicit wish of two long-time Pro Animale friends to buy these two calves back. Thank God, our Lukasz Szyszkowsky succeeded in persuading the operator of the fattening farm to sell the two calves. And so Alpha Sputnik and Erwin (as the two rescuers wanted to call the little ones) were allowed to move in with us at Delicia Natural, where foster mother Maria is taking very good care of the two little ones.
