The estimated 5-year-old Lucky was brought to us after a serious car accident, which he only survived by a miracle. Unfortunately, almost 5 days passed between the accident and the time he came into our care. Despite his massive blood loss and his severe liver and kidney contusions (with correspondingly bad blood values), our little hero fought his way back into life and was an extremely sweet patient. Only after a week of intensive therapy medication with continuous infusion was Lucky fit for anaesthesia. We could dare to operate on him. The broken pelvis and the completely destroyed hip joint were professionally repaired by screwing the pelvis to the sacrum. Lucky is now on the road to recovery and is looking forward to a wonderful life in our Doris Zinn dog shelter.
