The Romagnolo pigeon Colomba was found unable to fly in the forecourt of a school in Assisi. Our veterinarian found that, in order to quench her great thirst, she had probably ingested alcoholic liquid in some way and was therefore very upset. However, after our treatment and a few days in care, she fully recovered and could be released back into the wild.
