We couldn’t escape the desperate and urgent request to take 8 dogs from the Serbian animal shelter Kimba Sremska Mitrovica. Nada (5 yo) was found in front of a building in the neighborhood. It was the dead of winter and she was freezing, emaciated and very hungry. She was taken to the Serbian Shelter and spent 2 years there. Naum (2 yo) was picked up in a very bad condition. He was taken to the local shelter where he stayed there for 2 years. Today he is a very playful friendly dog. Nemanja (6 yo) was found in a town near the shelter. He suffered from a distemper infection which luckily he survived well. He spent 4 years in the Serbian shelter. Nevena (6 yo) is a very playful, social female dog who gets along great with other dogs and follows people everywhere. Nikolina (2 yo) was found half dead in front of a restaurant. She was taken to the shelter and was found to have food poisoning. She spent two years at the shelter and has grown into a very playful social dog. Novak (7 yo) was given to the shelter by his family because they had to move and couldn’t take him with them. Novica (5 yo) was found wounded on the street and taken to the shelter. He was probably treated very badly by people. The workers at the shelter did everything to heal his physical and mental wounds. He spent 5 years there and has grown into a lovely affectionate dog. Novka (10 y.o.) was found half dead near a river wrapped up in nylon. She was wet, very weak and emaciated. There was still milk in her teats, but her puppies could no longer be found. She spent 4 years in the Serbian shelter.
