Our animal shelter in Sussita Kumi/Poland – Rescue of 5 cats

Pulina, about 2 years old, came from a nearby farm. In the neighbour’s garage she gave birth to her children Putina, Putor and Putorek (2 months). She was living in dangerous territory because the farm dog was chasing the little cat family.  When we heard about the homeless needy family, we couldn’t say no. Unfortunately, Pulina has feline aids. To avoid infecting other cats, the family will live in Spartacus, where we have set up a special FeLV station. Unlike in German animal shelters, she is not threatened with euthanasia there. With appropriate care, such cats can live to a ripe old age.
